Mid-Week Reads: Introversion, Efficiency and Overwork

Work
What do you do when you're overworked? I like that the expert leads with:
“Sometimes the problem isn’t the workload, but the employee.
“I’ve seen some people complain about being overworked when I know they’re on Facebook during the day or checking their personal email. You don’t get to claim you’re overworked until you’ve tried cutting out distractions and really focusing."

Everything Else

The 6 commandments of online photo sharing. I’m glad #6 is up there!

Shyness and introversion aren't diseases. As a (formerly painfully) shy introvert myself, I take pleasure in this quote.
In the science journalist Winifred Gallagher’s words: “The glory of the disposition that stops to consider stimuli rather than rushing to engage with them is its long association with intellectual and artistic achievement. Neither E=mc2 nor ‘Paradise Lost’ was dashed off by a party animal.”

Why food is such a divisive social issue. And she hasn't even mentioned vegetarians vs. non-vegetarians.
