I love how you have given us a 'maybe lifechanging' moment in the simple act of making penne. As a piece of writing, it is beautiful. But I wish that the protagonist had tasted the salty pasta and made up her mind to go out and buy some penne and wine for dinner- and make it perfect this time. but who knows, maybe she does!
Shilpadesh, Rohini: Thanks.Chicu: Thank you for rooting for her. As you say, maybe she will do that.
Wonderfully written. It reminded me of me sometimes when the boys are not home. It makes me think about how much time I have left before they are all grown and gone and it is a little sad.I would have done the same thing she did.
Oh, Grail, thank you! I am so glad that you like it. And that you can identify with it tells me I didn't do badly.
I really liked it. :) And I liked the website too.. I submitted my own story and god published. Can you tell me anything about the website? Since I'm completely new to it, I don't know what to make of it.
Sumedha: I'm afraid I'm new to it too, and probably don't know any more than you do. :-)
