Mid-Week Reads: Standing Up, Speaking Up

If you haven't yet seen this video of the Prime Minister of Australia standing up to misogyny, you should.

While on the subject, Cosmopolitan says women should speak up more at meetings. And yes, I actually agreed with something on Cosmo.

Does living as a gay man mean you know what it is to be gay?

And I wrote this for Women's Web, about sins women need to commit to be successful at work.

J.K. Rowling talks about books she loves:
"My favorite literary heroine is Jo March. It is hard to overstate what she meant to a small, plain girl called Jo, who had a hot temper and a burning ambition to be a writer."
I also participated in a chat with Women's Web on online marketing for small businesses. I got some great questions and thoroughly enjoyed myself.

And I loved this article from last year about being gay and buying flowers, and it kind of ties into my story from yesterday.
